El sujeto de una oración afirmativa se coloca igual que en la forma interrogativa, cuando ciertos ad-verbios van al principio de la frase. La finalidad es enfatizar.
Es una estructura  muy formal. Por supuesto que todos estos adverbios que vamos a ver pueden ir en su posición normal.

3.1.-  At no time:

En ningún momento se informó a los ciudadanos.
At no time were citizens informed.
The citizens were not informed at any time

En ningún momento hicimos nada malo.
At no time did we do anything wrong.
We did nothing wrong at any time

En ningún momento dije que sí.
At no time did I say yes.
I never said yes at any time.

En ningún momento pretendí engañar a nadie.
At no time did I pretend to deceive anyone.
I never intended to deceive anyone.

En ningún momento intentaron persuadirme para que renunciara.
At no time did they try to persuade me to quit.
They never tried to persuade me to resign.

3.2.- Hardly:

Apenas había empezado a trabajar cuando sonó el teléfono.
Hardly had he started working when the phone rang.
I had barely started working when the phone rang.

Apenas habíamos empezado cuando comenzó a llover.
Hardly had we started when it began to rain.
We had barely started when it began to rain.

Apenas habían llegado se les ordenó regresar.
Hardly had they arrived when they were ordered to return.
They had hardly arrived when they were ordered to return.

Apenas tenía dinero, así que tenía que arreglármelas.
Hardly had I any money, so I had to make do.
I hardly had any money, so I had to make do.

Apenas has tenido que hacer nada.
Hardly have you had to do anything.
You've hardly had to do anything.


3.3.- In no circumstances:

En ningún caso se puede copiar.
Under no circumstances may you cheat.
You may not cheat under any circumstances.

Bajo ninguna circunstancia se debe tocar el secador con los pies mojados.
Under no circumstances should you touch the dryer with wet feet.
You should not touch the dryer with wet feet under any circumstances.

En ningún caso se cederán sus datos a otras empresas.
Under no circumstances will your data be given to other companies.
Your data will not be given to other companies under any circumstances.

Bajo ningún concepto se aceptarán devoluciones después de 15 días.
Under no circumstances will returns be accepted after 15 days.
Returns will not be accepted after 15 days under any circumstances.

Bajo ningún concepto debes dejar tu puesto sin permiso.
Under no circumstances must you leave your post without permission.
You must under no circumstances leave your post without permission.


3.4.- In no way:

En ningún caso es culpable.
In no way is she to blame.
She is not to blame in any way.

La teoría y la práctica no pueden separarse de ninguna manera.
In no way can theory and practice be separated.
Theory and practice cannot be separated in any way.

De ninguna manera los dos sucesos están relacionados.
In no way are the two events in any way related.
The two events are in no way related.

En ningún caso debe considerarse una victoria.
In no way should this be seen as a victory.
This should in no way be seen as a victory.

De ninguna manera el hecho es relevante en absoluto.
In no way is the fact relevant at all.
The fact is in no way relevant at all.


3.5.- Little:

Se sabe poco sobre lo que realmente ocurrió.
Little is known about what really happened.
We know little about what really happened.

Se sabe poco sobre las causas del problema.
Little is known about the causes of the problem.
We know little about the causes of the problem.

Sabemos poco sobre la infancia del autor.
Little do we know about the author's childhood.
We know little about the author's childhood.

Saben poco sobre el verdadero alcance de la situación.
Little do they know about the true scope of the situation.
They know little about the true extent of the situation.

Poco sabe de lo que tengo que decirle.
Little does she know what I have to tell her.
She knows little about what I have to tell you.


3.6.-Never:

Nunca he conocido a una mujer tan obstinada.
Never have I met a woman so stubborn.
I have never met such a stubborn woman.

Nunca he estado en una ciudad más hermosa.
Never have I been in a more beautiful city.
I've never been in a more beautiful city.

Nunca había visto un partido tan malo.
Never had I seen such a bad game.
I've never seen such a bad game.

¡Nunca se me habría ocurrido!
Never would I have thought of it!
I would never have thought of it!

Nunca lograrás tus objetivos sin trabajar duro.
Never will you achieve your goals without hard work.
You'll never achieve your goals without hard work.
