COMPARATIVOS

Superioridad: más…que
Monosílabos y bisílabos: tall, small, big, etc.
Añaden; –er: taller than

Trisílabos en adelante: expensive, difficult, modern, etc.
Anteponen more: more intelligent than.

Bisílabos terminados en –y: heavy, pretty, funny, etc.
se añade -er  y la -y se convierte en -i: heavier, prettier

Los monosílabos que acaban en consonante precedida de una sola vocal, duplican esta consonante: big - bigger

Inferioridad: menos...que
less + adjective+than:  less expensive than

Igualdad: tan … como
As+ adjective +as: My mother is as tall as my father.

SUPERLATIVO:
Monosílabos y Bisílabos:     small, tall, thin, etc.
Añaden -est: the tallest, the strongest

Trisílabos en adelante:  expensive, difficult, interesting, etc.
the most + adjective: the most difficult
the least + adjective: the least difficult

Bisílabos terminados en –y: heavy, pretty, funny, etc.
se añade -est y la -y se convierte en -i: heaviest, prettiest

Comparativos y superlativos irregulares:

Igualdad: tan … como
TODOS: As…as:

SUPERLATIVO:
Siempre: the most + adverbio.
